Paleyfest 2014: A Pre-Comic Con Workout

Just in case you haven't heard, my co-founder, Ashley, and I will officially be bringing you nerdy news straight from Comic-Con International this year! Both of us were successful in our quest for tickets and we cannot be more excited to be going as Team Chixelate! Dudettes, I just got an idea--CHIXELATE T-SHIRTS!
But I digress.
In addition to scoring tickets for Comic-Con, I also got my hands on tickets to the Paleyfest to see the cast and creators for the Vampire Diaries panel. The PaleyFest is described as the "ultimate TV fan festival," but I think of it more as a pre-Comic Con workout as I don't believe anything can really prepare you for "The Con." I had never actually heard of the PaleyFest before this year, so I can't say much about it. However their 2014 line-up seems pretty awesome. They've got everything from a HIMYM farewell to Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and even a 10th Anniversary Reunion of Lost.

Although a majority of their panels are on weekdays, they all start at 7:00pm so you can still catch it after work. However, trying to get to Hollywood during rush hour is not going to be a pleasant trip. If you plan on going, make sure you include enough traffic time! We'll get through this workout together ;)
